Moze Maaike Mertens
Born in Utrecht, The Netherlands living in Vancouver, Canada. 

I focused during my Bachelors in Interactive/Media/Design studies on art in combination with politics. Animation was the perfect tool to combine stories, illustrations and music. I recently graduated in December 2021 from the Vancouver Film School with an award-winning animated short film called "Alledoags" - which has been selected and screened at multiple festivals all over the world, like - Ottawa International Animation Festival 2022.

At the moment Moze works as a freelance artist in animation & design and works as a full-time Teaching Assistant for Classical Animation with paper and digital production at the Vancouver Film School in Canada.
